A Brief Biography... When your mum is Gloria
Hunniford, a career in TV is an obvious choice. Yet despite her mother's national fame, Caron Keating began by presenting programmes for BBC Northern Ireland. Top Blue Peter moment: Swimming with sharks. With her appetite for sticky-backed plastic appeased, Caron then made the transition to prime time by working on projects ranging from science show '4th Dimension' to Entertainment Correspondent on 'London Tonight' and acting on top-rated Irish drama 'Finbar's Class'.

Caron took time out of presenting to look after her two sons, but made a triumphant return to TV in 1996 when she co-presented This Morning, during Richard and Judy's holidays. She has also hosted the consumer affairs programme We Can Work It Out, the magazine show Summer Scene, and co-hosted the series Family Affairs with her mother. Caron's most recent project was the ITV show Rich and Famous, a show which uncovers details of celebrity's lives away from the cameras. Her first assignment on the show involved jetting off to Spain to meet Coronation Street's Curly Watts at his holiday home. |
