| Declan Curry is your man in the City. He broadcasts live each morning from the London Stock Exchange, as business presenter on Breakfast and then with regular updates on News 24 until noon. It makes him one of the few people to see 2.30 twice each day. The first time is when his alarm clock goes off before dawn; by the second, he's normally having a late lunchtime meeting in the City, or trying not to doze off on the tube! As well as interviewing the country's top bosses, Declan presents his own daily markets reports, and gets news and views from stock market watchers, money gurus, private investors and workers. Declan has been a business presenter with BBC News 24 since the channel's launch in 1997. He has also broadcast for the BBC's international news channel, BBC World, and for ABC News in the United States. Before that, he presented BBC Radio Five Live's early morning business programme, Wake up to Money, and produced and reported for a range of programmes, including Radio 4's Moneybox and Radio Five Live's Financial World Tonight. He has also worked for the London-based radio station LBC, and Channel 4. He writes weekly columns for Breakfast's website and the shareholders magazine Investors Chronicle, and pens an occasional diary of British life for ABCNews.com. He has written for newspapers, magazines and websites in the UK, the Irish Republic and the United States. He was born and raised in Northern Ireland, but moved to London to study chemistry. He currently lives in west London.
